The New Avengers

Every year, Marvel Cinematic Studios is guaranteed to release at least a few movies and TV shows. “Thunderbolts*”, which was released on May 2, follows a group of ragtag antiheroes (Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russel, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen) who unwillingly team up to face an enemy that will make them confront their biggest fears.
It’s been popular opinion that the Marvel franchise has been in a downward spiral and that their content (movies and TV shows) haven’t been the best, but “Thunderbolts*” has been one of the best movies since “Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3”. “Thunderbolts*” feels just like an old Marvel movie, akin to something like “Avengers: Age of Ultron”. This movie also has a major mental health awareness subplot component, which I greatly appreciate. This movie and the new “Daredevil: Born Again" have been (in popular opinions) a step in the right direction to “healing” the MCU and its future media to come. Overall, this movie was very enjoyable and I would recommend seeing it anytime with anyone.
