April Freshman Feature

Interview with Karina Stepp: 

Karina Stepp is a Cavalier that is involved in many activities. Karina does sports like basketball, soccer, and track, while also juggling theater and orchestra. She loves reading and anything to do with fashion or makeup. She has an easy-going, friendly personality, and we got to ask her some silly questions for this month’s Freshman Feature!

Interviewer: “What’s your favorite April Fools’ prank?”

Karina: “Well, I haven’t done April Fools’ before, unless you count little things with my sister when I was little.”

Interviewer: “What colour do you think each school subject is?”

Karina: “Math is blue, English is yellow, science is green, history is orange, religion is purple, art is a rainbow, and health is probably light blue.”

Interviewer: “What about the color of orchestra?”

Karina: “Black or brown, since both our outfits and instrument cases are black, and the instruments themselves are brown!

Interviewer: “What do you think of track so far?”

Karina: “I really like it, it’s a lot of fun!”

Interviewer: “Would you ever try any other sports?”

Karina: “I’ve done track all through middle school and my sister does it in college, so no, I’ve never really wanted to [do another sport].”

Interviewer: “What’s your favorite pick-up line?”

Karina: “That one that goes: ‘Can you hold something for me?’ and then when they say yes and ask what, you say: ‘My hand!’”

Interviewer: “What ice cream flavor do you think that the month of April would be?”

Karina: “Probably something fruity, like strawberry!”

Interviewer: “What’s your go-to snack for this time of year?”

Karina: “Cereal–specifically ‘Panda Puffs’ because they’re gluten-free and are supposed to help the environment, but mainly because I just like the taste.”
